New York Man Stays on Roof Drinking Twisted Tea As Police Gather in Viral Standoff
A man in New York stayed seated on a residential roof while repeatedly drinking from cans of an alcoholic iced tea beverage as emergency vehicles gathered below.
The video spread on X, showing the individual in a black tank top near the peak of a gray-shingled house and in no apparent rush to descend.
Buffalo Fire Department and police units set up caution tape around the scene while the man continued gulping the drinks and discarding empties throughout the clip shared from street level.

The Buffalo Police Department in New York responded to a call about a man hanging on the roof of a home.

Posts suggest the officers provided the beverages to encourage him to come down, though independent confirmation remains unavailable.

“Bro faked a hostage negotiation just to get door-to-door delivery on free Twisted Teas.”
