Ripple Price Analysis: What Happens to XRP If $1.2 Support Is Lost?

XRP is attempting to stabilize around $1.25 after briefly slipping toward $1.20 last week, extending the decline that has been unfolding since late September. The token is now back inside a key support zone, where the buyers’ response would likely decide whether the correction pauses or extends toward lower demand.

On the daily timeframe, XRP remains in a broader corrective phase that began after the early-2026 highs near $2.40. The sharp August recovery from the $1.00 region stalled just below the $1.70-$1.80 supply zone, which had acted as support before the February sell-off. The subsequent lower highs around $1.65 and $1.40 have kept the market structure tilted to the downside.

The asset is now testing the $1.25 zone, which marked the September lows before the rally toward $1.65. A recent daily candle dipped below it to approximately $1.20, but the quick recovery back into the zone suggests buyers are still absorbing selling pressure. On the upside, reclaiming the $1.40 supply area, where the October rebound was rejected, would be the first sign of improving structure, followed by the $1.50 region.

Conversely, a breakdown below $1.25 would likely expose the $1.10 demand zone. Below that, the $1.00 area remains the final major floor visible on the chart, having preceded the entire August advance.

The 4-Hour Chart

The 4-hour chart shows XRP trading within a descending channel since topping near $1.65 in late September, with each rebound producing a lower high. The latest rejection came at the channel’s upper boundary around $1.34, triggering a sharp drop below the $1.25 support and a wick toward $1.20 before demand re-emerged.

Since then, the token has been consolidating in a narrow range around $1.25, inside the marked zone. A move higher would bring the upper trendline, currently near $1.28, into play. A breakout above the channel would weaken the immediate bearish structure and open the way toward the $1.40 supply zone, where sellers stepped in during the October rebound.

On the other hand, losing the $1.20 swing low would undermine the current stabilization attempt and point toward the channel’s lower boundary near $1.15, with the $1.10 demand zone just beneath. Until the upper trendline is cleared, the descending channel remains the dominant short-term pattern, and rebounds are likely to encounter overhead selling pressure, which could push XRP all the way back toward the base of the summer rally.
