A viral Reddit thread is lighting up over a hypothetical $6 million offer to leave a billionaire’s child.
The r/AskReddit post had about 3,200 upvotes and more than 1,000 comments when it was covered.
The top reply kept it simple and aggressive.
“Ask for 10 [million].”
That comment alone has drawn more than 12,000 upvotes.

Other users are floating whether to show the offer to their partner first, then trying to squeeze the father for more money before walking away together.
A few jokes went darker, with one commenter suggesting hiring a hitman so both sides would face mutual destruction.
Real-life parallels also poured in, including a parent who once tested a sister’s boyfriend with a cash offer and a coworker who collected about $25,000 a month in alimony after divorcing into a wealthy family.
Plenty of posters said they would just take the money, while others argued that if a billionaire wants someone gone, they will not stick around either way.
